FT positions available, Open daily 12-8pm, weekends and holidays per policy

Responsibilities

The new Brighter Days Pediatric Urgent Care will be the areas first-ever walk-in mental health clinic for young people up to age 18. Services offered will provide immediate safe care outside of the emergency setting and help connect patients and families to resources.As part of an interdisciplinary team, the RN will assist with triaging, patient assessments and patient/family teaching. The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the assignment. The position is perfect for a self-motivated, pro-active nurse who has highly effective critical thinking skills and independent in decision making. One year psychiatric experience required. Requires NYS RN license.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $34.00 - $44.20

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
