Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy. - Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels. - Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy. - May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves, and remove out-of-date items from the inventory. - Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding. Must Haves: - 6+ months of experience working in long-term care, retail, or hospital. If you have limited experience, you may be considered for the Pre-Pack Tech position. - High School Diploma. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Work Environment Long-term care facility with three Order Entry Tech shifts: (1) 8am-4:30pm, (1) 11am-7:30pm, (1) 1pm-9:30pm. Must be open to working every other weekend. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension and potential for permanent hire.
