Job Description

ROGERCO, Inc. delivers advanced technology, cybersecurity, communications advisory, and multi-media services and is looking for a Videographer with Podcasting Experience to support an integrated communications effort for Army Futures Command based in Austin, Texas.

The photographer/videographer will provide integrated and comprehensive support to manage the entire podcast planning, creation, production, and distribution process. This includes photos, videos, content creation, editing, production of photo, multimedia, and video products, coordinating with hosts and guests, researching and developing content, scheduling, and managing recording sessions, editing, and mastering audio, and distributing episodes.

A successful candidate will be creative, fast on their feet, and self-driven. Ideal candidates have previous experience with branches of the armed forces. You must have an active SECRET security clearance.

Requirements

  • Deliver high quality professional photographic or video services. Ensuring the subject(s) presents well and resultant work product is useable for public or professional release.
  • Take formal portraits of official personnel for authorized release, arranging lighting, backdrops, and poses to increase artistic effect.
  • Produce and direct digital visual information products to include still photography, video presentations, to create podcast episodes from ideation to release that integrate the points of view of Army Futures Command.
  • Scriptwriting, editing, and reviewing podcast scripts to ensure quality and consistency in messaging.
  • Recording and editing audio files for podcast episodes
  • Designing and creating show notes, social media plan/posts, and other promotional materials to accompany podcast episodes.
  • Developing and managing podcast marketing strategies to increase audience engagement and growth.
  • Collaborating with other departments or external partners to create engaging and relevant content for the podcast.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and changes in podcast technology to ensure the podcast remains competitive and innovative.
  • Managing timelines, and resources to ensure smooth production and delivery of podcast episodes.
  • Monitoring and analyzing podcast performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Communicate through journalistic writing, copy writing/editing and scriptwriting.
  • Ability to develop engaging content.
  • Prepare and/or edit written correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Professional experience with recording equipment and software.

· Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

· Years experience: 6

· Clearance level: Secret

· US Citizen
