About The Position:

The OR nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, education, and care of plastic surgery patients (pre-op/circulate/or recovery). You would be a great fit with our team if you are positive, friendly, and passionate about giving patients a great experience. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate nurse with a high professional standard for patient care. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are highly valued. Additional position needs include a fastidious attention to detail when completing daily responsibilities and adherence to all OR regulatory and safety standards. Our Surgery Center is a boutique AAAASF certified surgery suite with one operating room. We provide a high level of individualized care for plastic surgery patients. Our goal is to provide the best experience and outcome to our patients. We also value providing a positive and rewarding work environment for our team that emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida State RN License (required)
• Current ACLS and BLS approved by FL state (required)
• OR, PACU, Pre-op, ICU, ED experience (required)
• Plastic Surgery clinical experience (preferred). 
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understand the principles of the aseptic technique and their implementation
