About the Role:

Ferrero USA, a leading global confectionery manufacturer with a strong track record of innovations and a great reputation for the quality of its products, is looking for a Production QC Assistant to support our Production Operations team. The position will work out of our Somerset, NJ factory location and reports to the Production Manager or Shift Supervisor.  The primary responsibility of the Production QC Assistant is to ensure that the proper QC line checks are carried out and that all bulk and finished goods comply with Ferrero standards. In addition, their responsibility includes escalation of any out of spec or non-conforming items to the shift supervisor/production manager and/or QA manager. This is a non-exempt (hourly paid) position and will involve overtime work.  

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper QC line checks are carried out. 
• Escalate and out of spec/non-conforming items to Ferrero QC and/or Production manager
• Check that production line personel are using the proper forms.
• Lot code and BBD are correct and legible.  
• Collect archive samples of finished goods.
• Follow GMPs and Safety rules

Who we are looking for:

• High School Degree required 
• 1+ year of experience  
• Teamwork

• Must be dependable
