Project Manager

Falcon Construction is seeking a Project Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Come join our growing organization!

Position Summary:

Falcon Construction is a national retail and restaurant general contractor currently seeking a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and control all resources including the internal and external members of the team and all materials for the successful execution and completion of a project. Including but not limited to project safety, quality, budgets, schedules, RFIs, change order requests, submittals, etc.
  • Project estimating, bidding and expert review and qualification of subcontractor and supplier proposals for new project opportunities.
  • Track and report to company owners’ project profit/loss, project effort and durations along with other key project metrics.
  • Use sound judgment in all project communication and ensure that key participants including the construction team, clients and design consultants are apprised of project activities in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate contract costs and agreements with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Aptitude for developing new relationships with clients, subcontractors, design professionals as well as maintaining lasting relationships with current and established individuals and companies.

Requirements

  • At least (3) Years’ experience working in the commercial construction industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Procore proficiency
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must have good organizational skills as well as analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Should have the ability to manage multiple small projects and set priorities.
  • Must have the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

Work is performed primarily in an office setting. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, hear, and talk (must be able to speak and communicate clearly with employees).
