Bookkeeper/Jr. Controller

GPAC is currently assisting a growing and stable client with their search for a Bookkeeper/Accountant . This is a Commercial Roofing company that has been in business for over 15 years and has just had their long-time bookkeeper put in her two week notice. This individual will be responsible for accounting operations and more within the company.

Bookkeeper/Accountant Responsibilities:

* Planning, directing, and coordinating accounting operational functions
* Annual budgeting and forecasting
* Month end closing responsibilities
* Preparation of financial statements
* Work with auditors
* Work closely with leadership team
* Ensure compliance

Bookkeeper/Accountant Background Requirements:

* 3+ years of QuickBooks Experience
* B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related field, OR
* Credentials of a CPA (preferred)
* Minimum of three years of accounting experience
* Experience working win Construction world is preferred
* Strong financial management and business acumen
