Job Description

Looking for a Salon Manager for a High Volume Great Clips Hair Salon in the Quarry Lake, MD area. This is a well-established salon with over 20 years of presence at this location and a well-established customer base.

• We are the top 5% of all Great Clips salons in the Greater Philadelphia and Baltimore markets. Something that makes us a little different is that we strive to have the highest "Effective Wage" in the market (base wage including productivity + product commissions + tips). Last week, our stylists' average effective wage was $38.24. Some make a little less, and some make substantially more, so to average it to this number, depending on how proficient you are. 
• No stylists in our company earn less than $30/hour in total.
• Our managers are leaders in the salon, driving the stylist's performance as well as their own. 
• Managers get paid a higher guaranteed base wage and a monthly performance-based bonus. 
• Ongoing training... both virtual and hands-on management and styling training.
• Health insurance is offered.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid active Maryland Barber or Cosmetology License.
• Prior Management Experience a strong plus.
• Proficient with hot irons, curlers and blow-dryers is helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset and a good eye for design.
