Job Summary

J Thomas Home is looking for a production worker level II in our Olathe, KS, location. Fast growing company with huge upside potential for the right candidate. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, and a quick learner that wants to work hard. On top of hourly pay there is a $4,000 retention bonus and up to a 40% annual bonus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Cutting, sanding, staining, clear coating, and assembling of wood and metal into industrial home decor pieces.

- Putting away or stocking inbound materials.

- Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

- Analytical Skills - ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

- Attention to detail - ensure we're producing quality pieces.

- Must have skills working with basic wood working and finishing tools.

- Must be able to work in a team environment.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Must be able to stand for long periods of times.

- Strong attendance record - On-time and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: Knowledge of carpentry or construction is a plus.
