Construction Estimator with GC and  Procore experience

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000

An established Commercial General Contracting company based in Atlanta is seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our team as an Estimator. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 and provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with senior management in cultivating key business relationships for revenue growth.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
2. Must be from a General Contractor background.
3. Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
4. Experience with Procore Bidding Tools is highly preferred.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Project.
6. Comfortable with public speaking and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Experience with Conceptual Estimating and Pre-construction Services.
8. Familiarity with pricing methods such as Construction Manager at Risk, Design/Build, and Hard Bid.
9. Ability to interpret Construction Drawings and Specifications.
10. Skilled in multitasking, prioritization, teamwork, and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.

Job Duties:

1. Review design drawings and specifications, and compile bid packages.
2. Solicit pricing from Subcontractors and Vendors to ensure comprehensive coverage.
3. Evaluate proposals to minimize scope gaps or double coverage risks.
4. Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis for various construction scopes.
5. Collaborate with the team to develop detailed scopes of work.
6. Lead in preparing detailed estimates and bid proposals.
7. Manage multiple projects concurrently at different design stages.
8. Participate in presentations and project interviews.
9. Provide guidance to entry-level estimators.
10. Assist senior management as the primary contact for pre-construction efforts across projects.
