Johnson O’Connor is a regional Public Accounting Firm located outside of Boston in Wakefield, MA. We’re seeking an Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our team in June 2026 .

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple service areas. Unlike larger firms where roles can be siloed, we offer the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements from start to finish, giving you a well-rounded foundation. JO is known for providing exceptional client service, developing strong relationships, and delivering a full range of accounting services — from audit and tax to client accounting services.

The job-essential requirements are:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 0-2 years of Public Accounting experience
  • Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
