Job Title: General Manager
Location:
Myrtle Beach, SC

Compensation: 

$110k - $125k base salary plus bonus, health, vehicle, PTO, Cell, Laptop and additional perks

Key Responsibilities:

BraveView has been engaged to recruit a General Manager for a $9mm Commercial Landscape business that has been servicing the Myrtle Beach, SC area for 2 decades.

As the leader of the business, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of operations, ensuring the delivery of outstanding service to our clients, and driving business growth.

We are looking for a team player who can develop teams, motivate staff, lead by example and be a true partner for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of branch operations, including sales, production, and administrative functions
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue goals
  • Review, adjust and approve bids for new maintenance contracts and enhancements to make sure profit margin goals are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and complaints are proactively addressed through ongoing communication
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality service and promote a culture of safety and teamwork
  • Hire, train, and mentor staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent service and meet production goals
  • Develop and manage branch budgets and financial goals, including monitoring expenses and revenue
  • Analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret financial data to identify strengths and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with owner and corporate leadership to share best practices and ensure consistent service delivery across the company
  • Participate in industry events and associations to stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in the industry

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leadership and management in the landscaping or related industry
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of landscaping and horticulture practices
  • Ability to manage diverse operating styles of staff and adjust to the seasonality of the business
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Ability to speak Spanish would be a Plus
