JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will be regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will use your skills and expertise to install, maintain and repair ordnance related equipment, aircraft armament weapons systems, eggress systems, and crew escape safety systems.
• Responsible for employing appropriate safety precautions, security procedures, and record-keeping techniques.
• Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
• Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
• Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
• Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes
• Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs
• Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
• Frequently exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
• Frequently exposed to loud noises
• Responsible for the safety or security of people or property
• Inspects, handles, or transports explosives, dangerous or hazardous materials
• Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles
• Performs aviation related duties
• Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance
• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 15 or more years of relevant experience
• A higher-level degree may substitute for experience OR
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Proficiency in avionics installation tooling, ordnance related equipment and aircraft armament weapons systems
• Expert knowledge of wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation, ordnance installation, repair and maintenance
• Experience with soldering and crimping techniques
• Advanced understanding of ejection seats, SUU-20's, MK-81's, BDU's, and rocket pods
• Extensive flight line experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in a Lead role
• Ability to mentor, train, guide and inspect the work of subordinates
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
