Job role: Senior MuleSoft Platform Admin

Location: Remote but must visit office at San Ramon, CA. when needed

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MuleSoft Platform Admin to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining our MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role requires a deep understanding of integration architecture, a strong grasp of MuleSoft s suite of tools, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Management: Oversee the administration of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including installation, configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of MuleSoft environments and optimize them for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, ensure platform compliance with industry standards, and manage access controls.
• Integration Support: Collaborate with development teams to support integration projects, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting any platform-related issues.
• Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute platform upgrades and patches with minimal downtime, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline platform management and deployment processes.
• Disaster Recovery: Design and maintain disaster recovery strategies to ensure platform resilience and data protection.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for the platform, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on MuleSoft platform administration.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
  • Strong understanding of security and integration patterns and API-led connectivity.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy) for automation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
