Insight Global is looking for a System Administrator III, specialized in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, for a government contract. These individuals will be working on a military base doing all network and system support for all of the Air Force.
The day to day is as follows:
-Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations.
-Analyzes system requirements and performance of hardware/software systems, and develops/recommends specific measures to increase the overall efficiency of these systems.
-Perform day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of all RHEL and related servers (e.g., Satellite, Syslog, etc.).
-Perform annual DISA STIGs compliance checks on all RHEL servers and related installed software.
-Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves.
-Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.

Skills and Requirements
-7+ years experience with: installs, tests, tunes, maintains, hardens, upgrades, patches, designs and documents supporting systems, utility programs, and monitoring tools for physical and virtual Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers on both classified and unclassified networks.
-High school diploma or equivalent
-TS-SCI Eligible
-IAT-II certification
-Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) -Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) null
