Job Description

An automotive BDC (Business Development Center) representative's job is to generate and manage customer leads for a dealership. They are responsible for:

• Inbound and outbound calls: Answering calls from potential customers and making calls to generate leads
• Customer inquiries: Responding to questions about vehicles, financing, and service
• Appointment scheduling: Setting appointments for the sales or service team
• Follow-up calls: Making follow-up calls to increase customer service satisfaction
• Customer service: Greeting visitors and callers, and transferring them to the correct department

BDC representatives need to have good computer skills, a positive attitude, and a courteous phone manner. They should also have excellent customer relations, sales and marketing abilities, and service knowledge.
