Job Title: Travel- Surgical Tech

Location: Hanford, California

Department/Unit: [Specify Unit]

Salary Range: $30 to $45 per hour

Shift: Evening Shift (1:30 PM - 9:00 PM)

Call Requirement: One assigned day per week, rotating between first and second call with one weekend call approximately every 5-6 weeks; buddy call assigned within the first to second weekend after arrival.

Duration: 8 weeks (Contract)

Job Description

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Surgical Tech for a contract position in Hanford, California. This role is essential for supporting surgical teams and ensuring high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Ensure all surgical instruments are accounted for before and after procedures.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document all relevant information related to surgical procedures accurately.

Requirements

• Current Surgical Technology certification (CST) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
